Personality: This poor little boy here, being only as thick as a twig, is afraid of his own shadow. He fears anyone and anything larger than himself (which is, unfortunately, most everything), but his worst fear is this: work.
***NEW*** Recently, Jesse has developed an obsession with "proving himself" and is quite sure he won't need your help to do it. He is often in conflict with himself, battling his skittish nature with his desire for confidence.
Jesse is a selfish little boy who rarely thinks of anyone but himself. He is very shortsighted and has a habit of acting before thinking.

History: Quite a few years ago, two Xiongguanlong eggs were shipped from China to America. Along with an audacious young woman. Her name was Daiyu, and she was looking for a change in scenery. Upon arriving in America, she ran off with the Xionguanlongs and searched for a better life. She was soon married to a man named Waldo Owle and the two moved near Gwangi to start a humble little farm.

Lewis, the oldest of their three sons, inherited the farm at the age of 18. He married a lovely lady named Jane, and they had two sons: William and Jesse. William was everything a farmer would want for a son; he was strong, persevering, and fearless. Jesse, on the other hand, wasn't.

One day, Lewis Owle took both sons to the saloon to "build character" as he put it. Jesse, of course, was terrified. He did, however, find comfort in while listening to the piano man. There, a love for music was born. Whenever the boy found an opportunity to go to the saloon, he listened to the songs of the piano. The piano man took an interest in the boy and taught him how to play. Jesse proved to be quite skilled in music, and also learned how to play the fiddle and how to sing. Unfortunately, musical skills are not useful skills for a farmer's son.

When William turned 18, he inherited the farm. When Jesse was barely 17, he was kicked out. His only inheritance was a sweet-tempered xiongguanlong and the family cynodont. This meant Jesse needed a job. Uhg. Then he found out about the competition at Gwangi. Get rich quick. Never work again.
Misc: as was said in his history, Jesse has musical talent. He knows how to play the piano, the fiddle, and he even knows how to sing. He has a little wooden flute that he used to practice on when he couldn't get to the saloon.
Out of his small inheritance, he did not inherit a saddle.
***NEW*** Due to Jesse's mishandling of a gun, he has blasted one of his fingers off entirely and many other fingers are slow to respond.

Name: Parmelia
Gender: female
Species: Xiongguanlong
Height: about 2 m
Misc: Parmelia is one of the younger offspring of Daiyu's two (stolen) xiongguanlongs. She is docile and even a little shy. She is eager to please and very loyal to the Owle family.
***NEW*** Throughout Parmelia's time with Jesse, she has come to think of herself as a mother-like figure over him. She is extremely protective of him, as if her were her baby, and will bite your head off if you so much as flick him in the nose.

Species: Cynodont
Height: 0.6 m
Misc: Otis was originally bought for Will to help out around the farm, but he took more of a liking to Jesse. The little boy was terrified of the energetic furball at first, but his affection eventually grew. He loves Jesse, he loves food, and he loves singing (though it isn't a very pleasant sound).
